I would to know which test could be applied to a system to determine whether it is sensitive or not.

You could put them in the sun and see how they go.. but this is probably the wrong group for a botanical question like that. ;-)

Change some of the parameters in the transfer functions by small amounts and see how the output reacts. What you want to do is determine whether something will blow up if a component is not at the exact specified value, which is usually the overwhelming case.
