The book is 300 pages and has a lot of good information in it. Section 1 : Mathematical Information Section 2: Drills Section 3 : Tapers Section 4 : Screws, Threads, Fasteners Section 5: Milling, Shaping, Turning Section 6 : Gears Section 7: Weights, Gages, Tolerances Section 8: Tool Steels Section 9: Metric Section 10: Reading Shop Prints Section 11: Supplementary Info.

All in all this is just the right book for someone who is just starting out or is good for the old timer as well. It gives all kinds of formulas in an easy to read format. It goes for around 20-30 bucks but is a good deal. It is advertised in the HSM as well as Machinist Workshop. I am not getting paid for this endorsement just want to help others. Al Kimmel
