I don't know the reason, but all the time I get nightmares, where someone gets zapped by high voltage electricity, sometimes when he tries to sabotage a circuit breaker, switching off the power to a whole town. Yesterday, I dreamed that 400 kV live wires were passing outside a house's window and door, which were permanently locked, and some fool unlocked the door, on his attempt to lock it again his finger was caught in it, the wire pulled him, and I saw him zapped to oblivion. I regularly have such nightmares. that can mean four things: (a) I am a bad electrician (b) electricity, esp. high voltage one, is dangerous and should not be fooled with. (c) I am worrying too much about bad things happening to people, regarding electrical things, and their (sometimes) idiotic attempts to repair space heaters etc. by themselves. (d) all of the above

The dream I had with unleashed electricity was one of urban warfare. The mayor sent four thugs to round me up but I gave them electro-magnetical hell instead. I was zapping chain link fences and frying thugs. I was throwing fenceposts. After I woke up, I was hiding under my bed because I knew I should be in trouble. I think I may have burst a capacitor because I haven't had such a dream again for yrs.
Dream interpretation is fairly complex. I used to have a book from the
60s that associated dream items with meaning to the dreamer. But it's not usually a direct translation like you seem to be doing. You can consult a psychic near the university.
That sounds intense! High-voltage electricity, just like some of the cutting tools demands precision and respect, one wrong move can be dangerous. Maybe your mind is wired, pun intended, to stay cautious about electrical hazards. Hopefully, the nightmares ease up, but at least they serve as a reminder of the importance of safety and the right tools for the job!

thanks a lot for your kind words! yes, I try to be extremely casreful where live electricity is involved, although I work only on low voltage. And I try to have the right tools for the job, too! I do hope though that my brain is "correctly wired". No chance for troubleshooting!
