Electrical and Mechanical Engineer positions available with a Oklahoma-based firm

I am a consultant at a leading management consulting firm that serves the engineering industry. We are assisting a successful MEP firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma in finding experienced electrical and mechanical engineers. Due to the firm's increased growth and success in the last few years, they are looking to make a number of critical hires in their engineering staff. Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer: this person will function in both a project management and lead design role. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing small electrical teams on a project basis. In addition, he/she will function as the primary point of client contact on all of his or her projects, reporting directly to the Associate Director of Electrical Engineering. This individual will have the opportunity to be considered for a Department Management role.

Successful candidates should possess:

=B7 Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline =B7 10+ years of electrical engineering experience =B7 PE capable of multi-state registration =B7 Experience in project delivery on Office, Retail, Healthcare, Educational, Industrial, Government or Grocery & Food Processing =B7 Thorough knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) =B7 The ability to perform lighting calculations using software =B7 Extensive project experience in < 600V AC power distribution system design =B7 General knowledge of medium voltage (2kV - 15kV) AC systems. (Utility company experience not applicable). Project experience is a plus. =B7 General knowledge in design of standby generator system. =B7 General knowledge of UPS system design. Project experience is a plus. =B7 General knowledge of NFPA 72 to enable performance based fire- detection systems documents to be developed

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer: This person will function in both a project management and lead design role. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing small mechanical teams on a project basis. In addition, he/she will serve as the primary point of client contact on all of his or her projects, reporting directly to the Director of Mechanical Engineering.

Successful candidates should possess:

=B7 Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline =B7 10+ years of mechanical (HVAC & Plumbing) engineering experience =B7 PE capable of multi-state registration. =B7 Experience in project delivery on Office, Retail, Healthcare, Educational, Industrial, Government or Grocery and Food Processing =B7 Working knowledge of IMC, IPC, IFGC & IECC codes =B7 Ability to perform heating/cooling/energy calculations using software. =B7 General knowledge of refrigeration, fire protection & process piping a plus. =B7 Comfortable directing small mechanical teams.
