A Central Orange County based leader in commercial and industrial refrigeration design, engineering and construction, has an immediate opening for a mechanical design engineer. For over 30 years they have been providing the worlds' leaders in the food processing and cold storage industry with innovative design and solutions to the most complicated and varied challenges.
Qualifications: =B7 Must have degree in BA Mechanical Engineering =B7 Refrigeration industry experiences a must. =B7 AutoCAD a plus =B7 Customer service oriented active participant in team effort =B7 Must be efficient in: Ms Office, Excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint and web browsers. =B7 Multi-tasked and able to meet deadlines. Description of Duties to include the following for the Project Engineer: =B7 Project Sales - Project job walks, estimating refrigeration design / build projects, and proposal writing to submit to customers. =B7 Project Engineering - Design/ build refrigeration systems, perform heat load calculations, refrigeration pipe and valve sizing, system design with knowledge of: compressors, condensers, vessels, pumps, evaporator coils, chillers, packaged units and related industrial refrigeration equipment. =B7 Project Management - Review equipment submittals, execute change orders, submit for mechanical plan check and obtain permit, equipment and subcontract buyout, manage construction cost and scheduling, and overlook project.
On going training and an attractive compensation package including salary and commission will be provided. This is a senior take charge position for a unique individual.
