Design Engineer - LWL Hydraulics Team

Position Type: Contract - W-2 Job Duration: 2+ years

The world's largest manufacturer of heavy construction and earthmoving equipment seeks an experienced Design Engineer with strong Pro-E skills for an opening in Aurora, IL.

=B7 As a member of the Large Wheel Loader Hydraulics Team, the primary responsibility will be the use of Pro Piping/Fluid Lines to route & design hydraulic tubes and hoses on all systems (implement, steering, brakes, fan drive, etc) AND design associated component installation hardware such as manifolds and brackets. =B7 A secondary responsibility is hydraulic system analysis and ensuring that current assembly and field problems are resolved. =B7 Individual must be self-starter with high initiative. =B7 Travel: Very infrequent - possibly a day trip to Peoria on occasion.

Requirements: =B7 BS Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering =B7 2+ years Pro-e design experience =B7 Hydraulic systems experience, demonstrating the ability to recognize and analyze system interactions. =B7 Detailing and space engineering experience =B7 Demonstrated people skills, the ability to lead and work in a team environment, and good communication skills are required

Desired: =B7 Previous Pro Piping/Fluid Lines experience is a major bonus =B7 Knowledge of CDIM and HVC desktop applications is beneficial.
