Control Systems Engineers (Transmissions and Electro-hydraulics)

A Fortune 100 company based in Peoria, IL and the world's largest
manufacturer of heavy construction and earthmoving equipment seeks accomplished Transmission and Electro-hydraulics Control Systems Engineers with embedded systems experience and Matlab design skills for an opening in Mossville, IL.
This position focuses on the model development and testing of transmission and electro-hydraulic control systems for earthmoving and construction equipment. Responsibilities include design, development, verification, and product maintenance. This position interfaces with machine design, software, and test engineers to identify electronic system enhancements, create system designs, perform system verification and system performance development. Designs will be developed and tested using The Mathworks Simulink software package.
Required: BSEE, BSME, BSAgE or equivalent. Basic understanding of control systems, transmissions and hydraulic systems and/or components. Experience with The Mathworks Matlab controls system development and analysis software. Embedded real-time systems and software development experience with 'C' or other high level language. Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
Desired: 1 - 3 years demonstrated success developing or maintaining electrical/electronic control systems or hydraulic systems for mobile, earthmoving, construction, agricultural and off-highway vehicles or equipment. General understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and/or electronic controls for mobile applications is highly desired. Digital control system design and development experience

If Caterpillar wants to recruite W2 employees, let THEM hire employees. If CAT wants contractors, then let them deal directly with 1099 contractors directly, instead of using "middleman" organizations like Volt and Zempleo. If Volt wants to hire people, then Volt should change it's employee agreement which is quite egregious, (i.e., they own you and anything you do, at anytime and anywhere).
