HP 33120A sig synth -- availability?

Several on-line used test equip retailers want what I consider outrageous prices for used models: US$2200. That's just a few $ less than they were when new.

Any suggestions where to find these at reasonable prices?

Thanks,

Uhhh... E-Bay!

But life with HP is not cheap anywhere. If you fail to find it anywhere in which the price differential is as small as you describe, you should go ahead and buy the new, and get the warranty, etc. that goes with it.

If the model is only a few years old, you won't see a very large depreciation in value at all. It is not like they are computer, ya know. The rate of depreciation on such lab gear starts much slower and the value endures much longer before it begins to dive.
