Looking for a commercial electrician that is experienced with installation of emergency backup power for a new cable TV station in Loganville, Georgia. This station is a 501c3 non-profit that wants to start with a 250KW backup system with diesel genset, line interactive inverter, battery banks, etc. for an upgradeable system. Due to a limited budget and the substantial depreciation of such systems, client is seeking help to install a 250KW system using used but top condition equipment.

Initially the client would lease an approx 250KW diesel genset with upgradeable inverter & battery array for utility power backup. Sensitive network, satcom, and cable switching systems will be powered by a online UPS so the main backup system only needs to be a general utility system. Later as broadcast studios are built, power needs will grow till approx 1 year later when the lease would expire on the old genset and a new

1MW+ genset would be installed, along with inverter and battery bank upgrades for the new broadcast studio.

You need a local licensed electrical engineer. Draw up a set of plans, then bid the job. The route your choosing may end up cost a lot more than planning in the beginning.
