Looking for experienced Switchgear Design Engineer

North Florida power systems manufacturing company is seeking an experienced (3-5 years) switchgear design engineer with a BSEE and extensive expertise in the design of switchgear, electrical control panels and instrumentation in the power generation and distribution field. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom design of low and medium voltage switchgear through 15kv, generator control and digital multi-function relays experience, and a working knowledge of PLC programming (Logix, SLC-500). The ability to mechanically design the physical layout/appearance of a switchgear control panel is a must. AutoCAD experience and UL procedures knowledge is helpful. The individual hired for this position will be a self-starter, results-oriented, with a superior customer service mentality. As this position will require domestic and international travel, only qualified applicants who are authorized to work in the United States and have the ability to obtain a passport will be considered.
