I've been searching high and low for a reliable solution for marking transmission lines at night. I've seen a few of the lighted orange balls around but can't find a source on the internet. One of the other engineers in our group spec'd in some neon light tubes for one of our lines with limited success: half of the tubes burned out within a year.
This isn't a new requirement from the FAA, so I'm sure there's something out there that people use all of the time. Can somebody point me to a good supplier?
