What is this capacitor?

Has anyone seen a capacitor like K33 in this picture? It appears to be electrolytic, but I have never seen one of this shape before. Of course the box was manufactured about 40 years ago, so maybe they don't even make this kind anymore.

But I was just wondering if a modern electrolytic capacitor would be a valid replacement.

Any ideas?

This is a classic example: 6 of you can't figure this Cap out?

No Wonder why you invaded IRAQ for a wrong reason! A cap with polarity is an Electrolyte Cap.

Tantalum capacitor DOES not have polarity f****rs!! Got it?
