anyone work on a Hummer?

local Chevy dealer got one in..

am not impressed..

door locks are REALLY pricy..

Hardly surprising. The only impressive thing about a hummer is how many people are stupid enough to buy one.

If owning it it didn't cost more than the owner could afford, what would be the point?

It could be worse. These people would buy tanks if you let them.

It looked to me like the locks were just Ford 5 in locks, but the H2 I think has Chevy handles.

the H2 has Chevy 10 cut locks, their own wafers, at a buck a slot times 7, etc.. ended up ordering 36 separate pieces to key up 2 of them.. interesting thing was taking a half inch punch and driving the lock out of the plastic handle.. some how this got real corroded..and not a year old yet..

Our local prison (Lotus Glen) had several Hummers which were suppose to patrol the perimeter, problem was that from day one of delivery, they were constantly breaking down. Most of the time NONE were in service. After persevering for a few years with them, they were replaced with Isuzu 4X4 duel cab utilities. Zero breakdowns in 18 months.
