Ok, I'm not a safe person.. friend has the combo (4 number) to his
safe but forgot the procedure. Is it 4 left to the first number?

4 numbers CAN BE right, first number... the last turn right to open... . got a brand or more info?

a 4 # starts right.5.x

Depends... Many end users consider (mistakenly) that the number that it
stops on is part of the combination.
