Electromagnetic Locks that Fail Secure? Is there such a thing?

I am looking at installing Electromagnetic locks at a secure facility, however; the one requirement is that they fail secure. Is there any electromagentic lock in existence that has a built in battery backup that would prevent it from a fail safe mode in a power outage?

Thanks!!

AFAIK, most can be had either way, safe OR secure..

the battery backup is available, HOWEVER it gives you x hours of backup time, before it too goes dead..

DO make certain that the PHJ allows such.. --Shiva--

You can add battery backup to the power supply itself to make it fale secure, coures that only works if the wires going to the mag. are not the reason for the loss of power. Either way better make sure it meets fire code with a fail secure setup on a mag lock.
