There is a material called "Polymorph". Heat it up to 62 C, and it is relatively easily moldable. One friend of mine used it for shaping his revolver handle. Just heated it up, stuffed around the handle frame and grabbed his shooter's gloved hand around the handle. Only minor sanding was required. I heard that bow handle appeared as easily.

Mutr (Middlesex University Teaching resources) has all kinds of fancy stuff for sale, but it's not the only place of it's kind. They seem to be a bit stuck with all received orders at the moment.
