Mount fan. Arrange speed control. Check flow direction. Place anemometer port in the flow. Place flow straightener down wind surround foregoing with a tubular enclosure Set up test section down wind from flow straightener. Make holes in test section to mount support wires Be sure to remember a door to place test specimens in test section. Arrange smoke streams [Optionally, mount schlieren camera system.] Dont forget the lights.
You're welcome!

It's a low speed wind tunnel...why do you care about the angle? As long as it's smooth and you have a flow straightener, no problem.
Tom.
I suggest you get a copy of the book: "Low-Speed Wind Tunnel Testing", by Jewel B. Barlow, William H. Rae, and Alan Pope. This is the "bible" of wind-tunnel design. If you really intend to build a wind tunnel, I can't imagine anyone doing so without a copy of this book.
There is also some good information available online at

These resources have been pointed out more than once to this poster. He will come back and tell you he has no access to any technical material outside of the web and ask you send him this info in PDF. Been there, done that. At least once before he has changed his posting ID, but comes back every few months to repeat his requests.
FWIW, I agree this is a very good reference. I would also advocate taking a look at

Also contains many useful refs. However, the OP seems to not want to go look for this himself, though it is available via the web. I'm sorry, but I'm not just going to hand over info to students for their projects when it is freely available with just a bit of digging if they'd get off their derrieres.
