I need to make multiple graphs in one chart in excel like the ones seen in medical journals. Not just a second axis but an entirelly new graph next to the other. How can this be done thanks.

Just do the same procedure you did to make the first graph, on the columns you are interested in, and if you don't like where the graph shows up, just drag it around. It is not uncommon to place all the graphs on their own spreadsheet...
