Cool links

Well it was pouring rain here for a while so I'm stuck at work, took the time to surf around my old bookmarks and re-discovered these two:

and also

The first is a link to a guy's site who is heavy into turbine engines, especially check out his latest, a turboprop. Way cool.

The second is Bob Shores, who wrote a book that is currently on my 'must getta holdof' list. But then I saw that little vertical hit/miss engine.

Not affilliated wtih those folks, just have too much time on my hands for an hour or so.

Bob Shores wrote a great book on ignition systems. I have a copy and refer to it frequently for reference. Bob makes reference to resonance in ignition systems - a point that was highly poo-pooed by a frequent contributor to RCM.

That was the book I was referring to of course. Let's not bring up the resonance thing, I'm on way thin ice as it is with the free-will thing and John right now!

Thanks for those. I just got back from a trip abroad, which included my first time visit to this place:

Some here will be familiar with the Deutsches Museum, in Munich. I recommend spending some time poking around their site, if you can't get over there.
