I'd like to buy about 2 foot - 3 foot, of 3/8" - 1/2" dia. 1144.
So far, with Googling, I haven't found a company that sells such a small amount but I feel like there must be companies that accommodate hobbyists like myself.
You help will be appreciated.

Mcmaster normally has this type of thing..
Pretty sure speedy metals has it.
McMaster has 6ft lengths

I can usually get whatever I need through Metal Supermarket - their prices are not the best but they've gotten what I needed before.
