For Indoor Use Only

went to harbor freight the other day and bought a heat gun for $12.99, seems pretty good for the price... i dont expect it to last for

20 yrs, but will work for what i need it for,,,, repairing a plastic automobile bumper, need to heat up the bumper before doing the welding(plastic) will use a $5.95 harbor freight soldering iron and some plastic welding rods... anyway the made in china instructions on the heat gun say "For indoor use only" bet no one uses them indoors, i cant think of myself being inside with this thing melting plastic or anything for that matter..... i guess the save you ass clause it to protect them if someone messes up so they can say they warned you or maybe they for got the rest: for indoor outdoor use only?????

It is their way of telling you not to use it in the rain. Note that extension cords are also marked whether they're suitable for outdoor use or not.
