Don't expect it to hold up to hard everyday use, and parts and repair can be iffy, but for light use their stuff is okay.

And they will stand behind it and give you another one if it doesn't work - at least the first time you use it. After that...

Shop around, you might be able to find better deals.

One-time use, go get a professional. Might be rentable from a local outfit, too. Otherwise, the price on these units has gone down dramatically over the last couple of years and the sensitivity has gone way up. Last one I bought has a 2' flexible snoot and detects down to .015 oz per year leakage. Was less than $80, IIRC. Check out the various auto A/C parts joints online, Tool Warehouse might be another source. The price of the portable units is all over the map, spending more does not necessarily get you a more sensitive unit. Probably mine is obsolete now.
