Weird. Don't think I've ever been to Des Moines. I need to glance at a map to see if I have even been through Iowa, but I don't think so. Generally I take I40 going cross country. Sometimes I8/10 if I am towing a load so I don't have to climb up over the rim, and then go north further east. Still have to go over the divide, but its not so bad down south.

Still to hot (according to the instructions) to spray that layer of foam I want on the under side (yes underside) of the new carports I put out back of the shop to make working outside tolerable.

Does that foam need a machine to apply ? I've got to do something in my carport-become-machine shop . I have some Styrofoam insulation kinda-sorta installed in the roof but it ain't nearly enough .

Nope. Just a bunch of cans with an applicator nozzle for each can. I have no idea if its any good. Supposed to be closed cell foam (waterproofing is primary for me), and it is supposed to cover 480sq ft one inch thick. One of my carports leaked like a sieve in the last rain. Even an inch of foam will also have the benefit of blocking some heat on a hot day. I do not know if the stuff is any good, but here is a link to what I bought.
