I've tried at least a couple of times to see if could find some of iggy's stuff out of curiosity if nothing else but no joy in trying to figure out what his eBay presence is. Not that I'm in market for anything that I'd want to pay shipping for from Chicago (altho I did buy the JLG 40H manlift a number of years ago that was outside Chicago when the broker promised he could ship it for $600 and so he picked up the difference between that and the $800+ it actually was. I'm sure w/ current fuel surcharges it might be nearly double that now... :( )

So, anyway, Iggy, how _can_ somebody see what you've got at the moment? (Inquiring minds and all that... :) )

Here's a picture of all packages that were prepared, and shipped, this last Monday.

I was wondering where are _current_ items/auctions found?

I know. I would like to keep it private though. I have seen some nasty people.

So how are you selling anything?

I think maybe he doesn't want to spam his ebay username on the newsgroup.

Kind of this is what I want. If I have, say, a hydraulic banana straightener on ebay, then anyone who needs it, would search for it and find my listing.

I'd think if this is intended to be/become a real business you'd be looking to set up a corporate identity. Who knows what someone might buy simply because it is there at a reputable source? I certainly do far more browsing at eBay than I do actually searching for a particular, specific item (altho I have done same as well, there are certainly specific sellers I check out fairly regularly).

But, suit yourself, obviously...if you're selling everything you have to put up, that's clearly "good enough" at least until that quits working.

dpb, I am a real business, with a 10,000 square foot warehouse, two forklifts, and enough sales to eke out a meager living.

What I am saying is, I like the way I am not advertising my ebay business, for a variety of reasons. Once in a wile I would post a for sale ad here, but, hopefully, not too often as to not to annoy everyone too much.

That part I grok...

and that I don't. Would seem the whole point would be to make a very good living, indeed...

But, it's your doing, not mine; I've got more than enough to keep busy w/ on the farm here--I just like to browse on occasion at places I know are going to treat well if do see something that attracts and was curious as to what sorta' stuff you were running across from time to time...

I keep this info private, because I do not want online USENET loonies to try to mess with my ebay feedback.
