Neighbors that repair stuff

Often have people leave stuff that they don't want any more . And that stuff clutters up the repair mans shop space . And that's why I now have a Honda mini tiller and an older Ariens limb chipper . Actually the tiller was the repair guys unit , he hasn't used it for like several years and he wanted it gone . The chipper was thought to need new "knives" because nobody understood how it operated . It needs the carb/gas tank/governer* installed , got all the parts needed with it . This is great news for my garden , the tiller is the right size to cultivate between rows and the chipper is going to be making cedar branches into mulch for weed suppression . *Fortunately the governer is identical to the one on my rear tine tiller ...

Stuff just accumulates doesn't it. I've got excess welders, torches, saws, generators, tools, vehicles, and STUFF.

That being said, having two half decent MIG welders and two half decent torches has come in really handy of late. I've just taken to leaving one of each in the back, and the others by the welding table.

I've come to the conclusion that cardsboard boxes, bicycles, and many items are like rabbits. Leave 2 in the same room AT YOUR PERIL!!!! - as the multiply.

OTOH, I have a neighbour who carries a Canadian penny and a U.S. penny in her pocket and rubs them together whenever she thinks of it. I think it may have something to do with the fact that she spent her pre-teen years in Malta during WW II.
