From Jan 31, 2004. In the middle of a Central New York snowstorm. I kept the pictures small for you dial-up guys. BRRRRR!

BTW- The Suburban in the pictures is my work truck- it has 246,000 miles on it and runs great. Like a rock.

I've seen worse pictures than that. Like this, for example:

Hey Carl, I don't remember that much snow. I live just south of Rochester. Must be your in a snow belt some where? I'm sort of between the Lake Erie and Lake Ontario snow machine. That's got to be lake effect snow right?

OK. Newfoundland is about 1400 miles northeast of here. I'd expect they would get more snow.

Northwest of syracuse?! I'm in Sodus. You can't be too far off.

We got hit pretty hard this year. The snowbanks of my driveway were up to eye level. While I was sitting in my 4x4 ranger. But the folks over in Fulton and Oswego had it worse.

Liverpool.

Oh, yeah. One of my co-workers lives in Oswego and spent a good deal of time shoveling his roof and then jumping off it (two story house).

Another guy lives near Red Creek and had four feet overnight.

Looks like a glacier is attacking the wires at the corner of the house.
