PIPE TERMS

Not sure if I should post this here or in the Welding group. I've just been hired on by a major Industrial gas/oil company to do some project management and I.T. related work. Though I'm not a novice it's been years since I've been in the field, does anyone have any online resources that I can check out to help brush up on my terms. Specifically related to Pipe fitting etc. Thanks

HR,

Get the little handbook from CRANE entitled "flow of fluids through valves, fittings, and pipe". That'll get you going.

My main goal is I.T. related, working with the Project Management group. I'll be tasked to keep things running, analyze the business model and try to determine if I can create software that will help them track and complete their work. In order to do this I need to know as much about their "terms" as I can. The more I can get in their shoes the better...
