I got tired of the grease left by Dawn and returned to Palmolive dishwashing detergent. It works and smells better, both on hands and dishes. Plus, it's a beautiful green!
Tip to clean hands with dishwashing detergent: Wipe hands in the shop. Come inside and put a quarter's worth of Palmolive in your hand. Wipe it all over your hands and fingers, then scratch your fingernails over your palms to get it under the nails. Now add a tiny bit of water and continue wresting hands. After a minute, add more water and continue wresting. Now go ahead and rinse. You should be considerably cleaner afterward. The key is to put it on dry skin. Let it be the first thing in the pores, not water. When the water does hit it, it forces the soap deeper into the pores and crevices of your skin.
