It's supposed to be a 12x36 but has no model designation.

My guess is a Series 100 Mk. 2. Not real clear in photo but leadscrew mount on right looks like it has one screw, and no QDGB. Here is some more detailed info...

It's called the "Standard Model". There were four models, Standard, Dual, Quick Change, and Dual Quick Change. The Dual has higher speed ranges with a larger motor. To my knowledge, there are no names or numbers stamped on these lathes. Most of the part numbers are DL### or SP###; quick change gear parts are Q###.

It may be the Series 100 Mk 3a. The clutch handle appears to be on the left. The Mk 2 was on the right. Hard to tell from the photo.

Can i say Atlas

It looks like a dead casting match to the Atlas 12x36 and 10X36

I am not sure what you mean: there is a clutch handle on the carriage as well as a clutch for the cross slide feed.

Actually it appears that Atlas bought Clausing but later decided to use the Clausing name:

History also indicates that model 100 was renamed 4800 but I have not been able to narrow it down more than that. Since the Plate on the back of the headstock says it was made in Ottumwa it must be dated earlier than 1957/8 but that's all I know so far.

It's the clutch handle that engages the counter shaft in the headstock. (allows the motor to turn the shaft, back gears, and headstock spindle) If you need more info, let me know, as I have the same lathe, except that mine has the quick change gear box.
