Yes I serviced a bambi compressor a few weeks back. Bambi sell a service kit. I didn't remove the motor out of the case as you can get to all the service kit parts. Regards
Yes, I've had mine apart - the piston had seized, so I had no alternative. It was all straightforward, except that there's a coil of piping, that allows the motor/compressor assembly to flex in its springs, which needed to be unsoldered. The valve plate has a gasket, that will tear apart on removal. It's all beautifully made in there.
