Bridgeport electrics

Any advice welcomed on how to reduce need for 2 single phase plugs, one for the DRO and one for the light on a Bridggy. I have another Bridgeport with a DRO and light which only has the 3 phase supply. Obvious answer is to look at how the other one is connected, but not that confident at what I'm looking at and would hate to blow the DRO Thanks Bob

Depends if the one with 3~ has 110v DRO and lo volt light. Sounds like your other one with the plugs needs 240v single phase for these two items. If so you need a neutral in with your 3~ and take any phase and this neutral to get 240v

Mine with DRO and light uses 24V from a 110 to 24v transformer for the light and

110v from a 440 to 110 transformer, this machine has no neutral or needs one.

Many DRO's have a selector switch on the back to choose 110 or 240v. If you aren't certain get a sparky to have a look inside the cabinet and tell you what's available.

Many thanks, I'll take your advice as the one with no additional plugs is newer than the one the separate single phase plugs. Bob
