Car boot sale 10p apiece and a bit rusty.
Cheapest decent tools you will get.
And if they're not, you haven't lost much, if anything.

Aldi!
Steve
Actually, that's not a bad recommendation. I bought 6 sets of drill bits
1mm - 13mm in 0.5mm increments - "Titanium coated" for 2 quid a set from "Lidl". I must have drilled over a hundred holes in mild steel with the 6mm bit and it's still like new. Three of the sets are going on ebay next week. I reckon the other three sets are going to last me a lifetime with sharpening. If the quality of the other tools are equivalent (and I'm more than happy with the tap+die set from Lidl, and the DVD writer and angle grinder from Aldi) then I would recommend - they might not be snap-on, but if I want that sort of quality, I make my own.

in my opinion, ya cant beat craftsman hand tools. Just as long as i
still says craftsman on it someplace decernable, They will replace i if dammaged or broken by simply returning it to sears ( or wherever yo got it, or where ever sells them )
Ken-Ohki "I make things do what I want them Too, The Hell with what they ar designed to do.

Agreed - if you can afford new or find secondhand.
Trouble is, that's the States.
I don't think Craftsman, and Sears, have reached Europe yet.

And hopefully that level of spelling won't either but don't hold your breath.

Halfords Professional ratchet spanners. Truly things of wonder.
I've got the "normal" set, the "stubby" set, *and* the flex-head set, and I wouldn't be without any of them.
Lifetime guarantee, too.
But not on the ratchet part, you'll notice.
