Hi I have running off a inverter a Electrodrives Ltd induction motor.with 2800 rpm.labeled as A1pak11 , iec 34-1, the terminals are marked as V,W, U and N. This works fine with forward reverse and jog. However I now want to fit this to my Myford S7 but physically it is too small. I do have a Crompton Parkinson motor which is marked as0.5 hp , 1425 rpm, volts star 380/440, amps star 1.0 volts mesh 220/250 , PH 3 with terminal A B C and N. The 3 wires ( plus earth) from the inverter seem to be marked wire as wire 1, 3, and 4. Wire1 going to terminal U. wire 3 going to V and wire 4 going to terminal W. So can I use the Crompton Parkinson motor and how do I connect it up . all help welcome. Mike
