I recently heard of self-locking screws being used for gib adjusters - does anyone know anything about them? I've heard of self-locking nuts, but not self-locking screws.
Does anyone know where to buy them?

Been around since the 1960's, screws with nylon inserts in the threads.
Should be available from most good hardware stockists, but might be a specialist maker like Unbrako which were the ones that I remember.

what size , have some grub screws and some cap screws
what sizes? have some small grub screws, and some cap screws
