Interesting to see that the "Cobra" lathe advertised on the back page of the current MEW has a 150HP motor.

Ah well you see it's the new conversion factors now in use.
1 watt now equals 1 HP. Presumable very small horses?Henry

It's the EU (RSPCA approved) health & safety horse as you aren't allowed to tire them out to much.

It works both ways: there's those 50Watt computer speakers powered by a fat plug marked "15Vdc out at 0.75 A".

That one looks like an example of the old PMOP trick to make audio amplifiers look better (well louder) than they are.
