hello Steve Have read my manual p 30 but this refers to the tailstock. Need to adjust the clasp/half nuts that transfers the power drive from the lead screw to the saddle.

Are you looking under "Apron" on p 30?

Tailstock appears at the bottom of the page. Apron is above it.
