hi everybody! I wonder if anyone could help me. I don't know how is the Elasticized Expanded Polystyrene produced?

US patent 5,713,696 gives some details but not all. Basically, the beads are compressed to be ellipsoidal rather than remaining spherical. The anisotropy then gives you the desired performance characteristics. Column 7 is the most relevent.
