How to process Polyimide powder into a film ?

Any good solvent recommendation ?

Thank you.

Oliver

You might try DMAC with 3% LiCl. Polyimide films are normally cast from the polyamic acid which is then cured and is insoluble. The powder can also be sintered into a film but may not be clear. Frank

I think RTP's grades are thermoplatics.

Any idea for processing PI thermosert powder for films ?

I would rather use wet dipping or wet spinning, but how to dissolve the powder ?
