polymer viscosity

Hello,

What is relationship between Intrinsic Viscosity and Relative Viscosity ?

Thanks in advance

Relative Viscosity RV, also called viscosity ratio is: " v/v0 " with v = viscosity of polymer solution of defiined concentration c v0 = viscosity of solvent at same temperature Relative Viscosity has no dimension.

Intrinsic Viscosity IV, also called limiting viscosity number at concentration zero, is:

" lim (c->0) [ln(v/v0)/c] " or " lim (c->0) [ln RV/c] "
