Can anyone tell me what is added to childrens type washable PVA glue to make it water resistant.after it has dried. Please

Nothing.

The crystallization that occurs upon drying makes it inherently more difficult to resolvate.

Just for information, and I assume not used in childrens type glue, but aluminium chloride is added to PVA wood glues in some instances to improve water resistance - such as when making laminates for kitchen surfaces.

PVC becomes not soluble in hot water due to crosslinking during heat treatment.
