I was wondering if there was an easy way to put a datum axis on an ellipse. Any thoughts? I have tried the datum axis creation tool, but it does not allow multiple references if I pick one surface of the ellipse.

When you are in sketcher creating your ellipse, pick Sketch/Axis Point, and place it at the centre of the ellipse. This will show up as an axis in your model.
