Chrome Finish

Looking for a way to "shade" a model a shiney chrome or shiney metallic finish-

Thanks - I'm actually looking for texture that I can apply to the part that is chrome (like the sample rim on the link you posted) I would have more control in terms of adding logos or text to the chrome if it could be brought in as texture and it would show up by simply shading the model. Perhaps a bright chrome look can only be accomplished by rendering the model.?

Pretty close. You'll need either a Silver or Gold maintenance account. You gotta pay them money for this one. They're not giving away 'Knowlege Base' stuff. Proprietary. Income stream. Blah blah blah. You pony up and then find out if it's worth it. This ain't Shareware, yuh know.

What's interesting is that I applied a texture that contains a logo and set the basic & advanced tabs per the tech support knowledge base instructions to achieve a chrome look and the logo bleeds through the chrome when rendered. But standard shading only displays the texture/logo-
