I tried the Easy-Off no-smellum oven cleaner (a misnomer if I ever read one) on the chrome today. I let it sit for a couple of hours (with a couple reapplications). The finish is like new. I got to hand it to them eager Chinese guys; they do some things first class. But why the hell did they chrome the exhaust system on a stock mom- and-pop-mobile?
