This might be a good opportunity to address a question that comes up frequently: where should I put them (the supplementary configuration files). The best answer is to put them some place that will not be overwritten by an upgrade installation, i.e., on a separate data drive that gets backed up. Pro/e doesn't care; it is so flexible, in fact that you can separately configure every project you work on. Of course, this could take more time than the project itself. But Pro/e is not a limiting factor in configuration. If anything, it is frighteningly broad and unrestricting. But, you better know what you're doing. The best config.pro won't save you if you don't know what to change when you run into trouble.
