I think the C64 is good for robot technology, since it has a modern , fast 6510 CPU , massive 64Kbyte RAM and a fast modern 5.25" disk drive.
Robots using C64 boards and C64 control units will be THE robots of the future!

If you can get a C64 based robot to be as intelligent as an ant, think how smart it will be when upgraded to a pentium... [Disclaimer: Intelligence may not scale linearly with processor cycle time or memory]
