PCI 8255/8253 I/O cards

I have seen some really inexpensive taiwanise data acquisition cards based on the 8255 and th 8253 I/O chips.

Does anyone know a retailer that will sell them in the USA without such a huge markup?



Futurelec seems to have a couple at a good price:

But none with the 8253 CTC.

You might look at Adlink boards. I think they are rep'd in the US by

alsoknown as Circuit Specialists in Arizona.

I have seen references to 8253's and 8255's in the Adlink C library header file, but I don't know specifically which of their modelshave them. I used a different one of the Adlink boards and they are Taiwanese, the boards work OK and the support is really weak.
