speaker system for pc

hi fox , i know that i am in the wrong ghroup but somebody most know somenthing about ellectronic here :)) i have i mew PCVA-SP4 SONY VAIO SPEAKER and well i want it to hang on the wall i made a small hole on the back of the speaker that as the amplifier and power, well i made i little short out so i don't know what happen ,, i can only ear only an hammmm any idea what can i look for .. what's burn out ... any help
