C.P.R. CLub News - Good News!

Central Pennsylvania Rocketeers is proud to announce the final step in the process of flying at their new field. Dates for launches have been arranged through August of 2004 through the good services of Irma, the secretary for the Penn Township Fire Company. C.P.R. will now be able to continue it's schedule of launches on the third Saturday of each month (except May 8th and June 26th) indefinitely.

The flying field had it's first official Sport Launch on November 15th, with

12 flyers showing up and launching 32 flights, ranging from a Quark (the only loss of the day) to an Art Applewhite saucer on a C11, D11 and D12. Word has now been spread through the Keystone Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America to approximately 12000 Scouts about the new field and support for the Space Exploration Merit Badge.
