Heard about it in NPR. Cost quite a bit and you have to send it in to get a DVD back. They expect to turn them around 5 times before throwing them out. You can't review the video in the camera and of course you can't download it yourself. You have to send it in. Still it might be O.K. as I'd rather trash a $30.00 (or whatever) camera than a pricey one.

There are people working on that particular problem. :-) There's a thread on TRF with links to an electronics-hobbyist group that's talking about getting such a hack to work.
