[OT - URGENT] Save Apollo Launch Tower

NASA plans to begin destruction of the last Apollo launch tower (launch umbilical tower #1) on Thursday, February 5. We have until noon tomorrow (Feb. 4).to come up with a plan, public support, and money to stop this. This is the Launch Tower that launched Apollo 4 (first unmanned Saturn V), Apollo 8 (first manned Saturn V, and first trip to the moon), Apollo 11 (first landing on the moon), all three manned Skylab missions, and the Apollo-Soyuz mission. It is truly a piece of American space history, and it borders on sacrilege to destroy it...

PLEASE, distribute this as far and wide as possible. There is only a very limited window of time in order to accomplish this. If you know anyone who would be able to put pressure on NASA, or who is willing to help contribute, please discuss this situation with them.

Appear on the national morning shows. It is your only hope. Have a clear, brief message.
